What a wellness plan can do for your pet
Wellness plans are continued care plans that are designed for the needs of your specific types of pet. We offer four types of plans, including those for puppies, adult dogs, kittens, and adult cats.
Puppies
We love to be a part of welcoming the newest member of your family! Puppies can be a lot of fun, but it’s important that new pet owners take the time to ensure their puppy is healthy to get them off on the right foot. With wellness care plans for puppies, families will benefit from:
- Initial comprehensive examinations
- Vaccinations
- Parasite screening
- Deworming
- Heartworm disease screening
- Unlimited free office visits
- Discounts on grooming
- Spaying or neutering (included only in the Puppy Plus plan)
Adult dogs
As your pet gets older, it is incredibly important to continually monitor their health and wellness to provide the best quality of life throughout their older years. We have three wellness plan options for adult dogs.
The basic care plan includes:
- Bi-annual comprehensive physical examinations
- Vaccinations
- Parasite screening
- Deworming
- Baseline diagnostics
- Unlimited free office visits
- Discounts on other services
The standard care plan includes all of the above, plus:
- Urinalysis package
- Dental prophylaxis package
The intensive care plan includes all of the items in the basic and standard plans, plus:
- Radiology package
Kittens
Bringing a new kitten into the home is a fun and exciting time for many pet families. Setting up a proper foundation for routine and necessary health care for your feline family member is incredibly important. Our wellness plans for kittens includes services such as:
- Initial comprehensive examinations
- Vaccinations
- Parasite screening
- Deworming
- Testing for FeLV and FIV
- Comprehensive examinations
- Unlimited free office visits
- Discounts on other services
- Spaying or neutering (included only in the Kitten Plus plan)
Adult cats
As cats age, they may be susceptible to a variety of health concerns. We monitor pets throughout the years to watch for the signs of problems that may occur in the later adult or senior years. We have three wellness plan options for adult cats.

Which plan is right for my pet?
Under each pet plan, we have various package levels that determine which services are included. We encourage our pet parents to speak to our veterinarian about the services their pet may require over the years. The more extensive plans do cost more overall, but they provide the best coverage of services that may be required for your pet throughout their lifetime and can help you avoid the stress of unexpected pet care costs.
Dr. Venkat Gutta will only make recommendations based on the current health of the pet and the budget of the family. Wellness plans can be extremely affordable and provide a baseline level of care for your pet, though some pet families decide to invest more in their pet’s health to prepare for otherwise expensive services they may require down the road. We welcome families to discuss their options with our team to make an educated decision for their pet’s needs and possible future health concerns.
What about grooming?
Some of our wellness plans include discounts on grooming services as well, including nail trims and gland expressions. Pet families love the ability to care for their pet completely in our practice, with both medical needs and grooming solutions!
